WRI hires approximately 40 new staff per year in different programmatic areas and centers. In this position, you will support the Talent Acquisition team by assisting with various tasks throughout the recruiting and hiring process. Your key responsibilities will play a crucial role in providing potential employees with an exceptional candidate experience.This position represents an opportunity to learn about the recruiting profession. In this newly created position, you will assist the Global Talent Acquisition Manager in all aspects of the hiring process for domestic hires and have the opportunity to learn more about the recruiting profession. Ideally, you will bring an eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced recruiting environment and possess a keen eye for detail, impressive organization skills and a great attitude.



  • Track searches in the applicant tracking system
  • Coordinate on-site and remote interviews between candidates and recruiters across multiple locations, which may include booking interview spaces, tracking hiring team participation, and communicating schedule details with candidates
  • Welcome candidates on-site and provide as-needed assistance throughout interview, ensuring a great candidate experience
  • Work cross-functionally to assist with the entry and opening of new job requisitions in our Applicant Tracking System
  • Assist in implementation of new Applicant Tracking System
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects related to campus recruiting, employment branding, background checks, contractor hiring, and other Talent Acquisition operations as needed
  • Partner closely with Recruiters to learn the recruiting ropes 


  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of two years of relevant, full-time work experience
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to think on their feet, be flexible, and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment while providing exceptional service to candidates and employees
  • Willingness to work with individuals across all levels and functions to assist in recruiting process 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong reporting skills, including ability to extract, evaluate, and present data
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office  product suites
